Academic Program
The Pre-kindergarten (4-year old) Program balances the development of academic skills for Kindergarten readiness with social skills development based on Catholic values. Our Pre-Kindergarten Programs are full day with the option of three-days or five-days per week during the school year.
The core academic program of St. Leo School, which supports the intellectual, social, physical, aesthetic, emotional, and ethical development of its students, consists of a comprehensive education in Religion, Mathematics, Reading/Literature, English (Grammar & Writing), Spelling/Vocabulary, Science, and Social Studies. The core curriculum is supported and enhanced with additional coursework in Art (K-8 weekly), Physical Education (Pre-K-8 twice weekly), Music (Pre-K-8 weekly), Library (K-5 weekly, Pre-K twice weekly), and Spanish (K-8 weekly). The curriculum, contained within these disciplines, is structured to provide developmentally appropriate instruction of skills and content from year to year.
